Portage Park is Chicago community area 15, a 4.0-square-mile area on the Northwest Side, about 9 miles from the Loop. Portage Park is a large Northwest Side area centered on the Six Corners shopping district at Irving Park, Cicero and Milwaukee, and on the park the area is named for. More than half its parcels are houses, many of them brick bungalows.
